Develop Professional Skills and Research Practices within Local Academic and Industrial Communities

We are continuing the ‘Research Assistant Employment System’ for female researchers. Furthermore, we will include male researchers in this system, and operate it as ‘Research Assistant System to Implement Diversity-Sensitive Research Environments’. We will also hold seminars and other events to encourage male and female researchers to review their work styles and to promote changes in their way of thinking and their management reform.

Project to Employ Research Assistants for the Work-Life Balance Support

By maintaining the on-going ‘Research Assistant Employment System’ for female researchers and preparing the new ‘Research Assistant System to Implement Diversity-Sensitive Research Environments’, we will provide both male and female researchers with more support so that they can balance their life-event responsibilities and their research activities.

Project to Prevent Power Harassment in the Workplace

We will hold seminars to develop a work climate in which various work styles are respected based on individual life-event responsibilities and work-life balance. Through the seminars, we will also promote changes in the way of thinking by related people including those in managerial positions.

Initiative to Prohibit Meetings after 5.00 p.m.

In order to promote male and female researchers’ work-life balance, we will prohibit meetings from taking place after 5.00 p.m. and will review workplace operating methods.
